Another thing that is apparent, the residents of “Downton Abbey” go to London. What I have been able to ascertain, however, is that the show takes place some 100 years ago. This makes following the show difficult especially when, like me, you’re not actually watching, but only noticing it. They all get speaking parts too (not the pets), and half the time the characters mumble or speak with a British accent.
